Full Stack Developer - MAT41FSD

We are a dynamic and innovative company, located in London Docklands, providing predictive technology and AI solutions to the energy sector. Our market is global and we specialise in energy data management and demand forecasting for power and utility multinationals in electricity, gas and renewable generation markets.

We have an immediate vacancy for a Full Stack Developer to join our Systems Development team for a fixed term contract of 6 months. You will be responsible for supporting our team with both back end and front-end development of the new version of our software application, Nominator. We will provide you with the product training, project framework and sector knowledge. Skills & Experience:

A skilled engineer with experience in building back-end and front-end systems.

Essential Criteria

  • Proven experience in NodeJS / .NET Framework based applications,
  • Good command of HTML / CSS and responsive design concept,
  • Experienced in structures like React.js / AngularJS,
  • Experienced in C# or Java
  • API Gateway to manage access to our Micro Service APIs
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies,
  • Developed an application using effective JavaScript / Typescript,
  • Knowledge of source control (Azure devops)
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies,
  • Strong communication skills and prone to teamwork; eager to research, explore and learn new things,
  • Graduated from relevant engineering departments of universities,
  • Good command of English

Desirable Criteria

  • Best practices knowledge in in UI/UX design and HCI (human-computer interaction)
  • Working knowledge of Data Lakes
  • Working knowledge of Data Warehouses
  • Experience with cloud platforms AWS and Azure
