Junior Energy Consultant / Product Support - MAT/43/JEC

We are a dynamic and innovative company, located in London Docklands, providing technology and consulting solutions to the energy sector. Our market is global and we specialise in energy data management and demand forecasting for power and utility multinationals in electricity, gas and renewable generation markets.
We currently have an opening for a bright and enthusiastic graduate or post graduate as a Trainee Energy Consultant. This role is client facing and involves hands on product and service support, project delivery, econometric modelling and data analysis. We will provide you with the sector knowledge, product training, project framework and market exposure required. On successful completion of your training you will progress to a full consultant role and beyond, with responsibility for managing specific client accounts and/or specialising in market areas. Skills & Experience:

• Degree or higher qualification in statistics, mathematical subjects or computer science, information technology
• Efficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
• Experience in numerical/data analytics software are desirable
• Skills in Microsoft SQL query language/ python are desirable
• Skills in automation script language such as PowerShell is advantageous
• Skills in MATLAB, SPSS and other programming language are advantageous
• Previous work in a related area would be an advantage.
