Matrica is a dynamic and innovative company, located in London Docklands, providing predictive technology and AI solutions to the Energy sector. Our market is global and we specialise in energy data management and demand forecasting for power and utility multinationals in electricity, gas and renewable generation markets.

We are currently looking for a Big Data programmer with Energy sector experience to support development of our software application, Nominator. The role involves supporting our existing team of developers with the integration application with Cassandra for launch of our new product, assisting with the development of future iterations of the application, writing the code for new modules, and systems testing & trouble-shooting. We will provide you with the product training and project framework. Essential Criteria

  • BSc in comliuter science or other related subject
  • Exlierience in developing liower forecasting applications and statistical methodologies
  • Programming skills in languages including VB.net. python, C#, Java, NOSQL and TSQL.
  • Database knowledge of Cassandra and SQL Server
  • In delith knowledge of Aliache Hadooli Big Data
  • Knowledge of Spark and Kafka
  • Strong working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Knowledge of software and systems testing processes
  • Exlierience of performance tuning
  • Experience with cloud platforms AWS and Azure

Desirable Criteria

  • Working knowledge of Data Lake
  • Working knowledge of Data Warehouse
  • Docker
  • Shell/Bash.
  • Net Core
